| "Family FM has played a wonderful part in my life!" |

Tina’s heart was breaking. Her husband had a girlfriend whom he was meeting regularly. Her mother-in-law hated Tina and was determined to evict her from the family home. One night Tina thought about taking rat poison to end her life. But someone at the Christian school where she worked as a cleaner had told her about Family FM. Tina turned it on and heard the announcer inviting listeners who were in distress to pray with her. Often sleepless, Tina prayed: “God, if you are real, please make me sleep well tonight.” She went to bed and slept peacefully. The next day brought a torrent of abuse from her mother-in-law and a further command to leave the house. So Tina took her 12-year-old son with her to the school where she worked, and there they spent the night. In the morning Tina poured out her heart to God. That same day a Korean Christian lady who worked at the school invited Tina and her son to stay in her home. That lady helped Tina as she took her first steps in following Jesus, and later paid for her to go to Bible School. One day Tina took courage and visited her mother in law. She told her about Jesus and persuaded her to start listening to Family FM. Three years later, her mother-in-law too yielded her life to Jesus. And she asked Tina’s forgiveness for her unkindness in the past. Today Tina leads a church planting ministry in Kratie province. She says: “Family FM has played a wonderful part in my life! It always touches my heart, all the time.” Listener Stories photos do not depict people in the text |
